Need Help in deciding TS 4k or Videocon 4k D2h ?

Hi everyone

This is my first post and i need help, Recently Ordered LG 42UB820T ( 4K , HDMI 2.0 , HDCP 2.2 ) which will be delivered this Wednesday and now I'm very confused which DTH i need to go with Videocon or TataSky.

Which has the best HD quality, is it true 1080p and regarding 4k channel is it upscaled or direct ? Will there be any content after WorldCup matches ?

Need Help ASAP so i can decide and be in time for Quarter Finals

How is the HD quality ? and my TV supports 4K HEVC 30p. How much difference will it be when compared to 4K HEVC 60p.

TS provides 4K @ 50p. Setting it at 4k25p somewhat degrades the PQ especially in other HD and SD channels. In fact the 1080p setting provides better PQ for HD and SD channels. The 4K is true 4K. HD channels are 1080i as is the case for all other DTH.

Do be aware that in case you want to go for PVR, there is no 4K PVR available in India at the moment. You would then have to select HD.

4K content is expected to be event based initially although there is word that at least one broadcaster Travel XP is due to launch a 4K channel soon. D2H plans to provide various 4K content via its content pipe post WC. I am sure TS would also do the same.

LG42UB820T supports 4K60p through its hdmi2.0 port. But it can decode 4K30p only when contents are played from its usb3.0 port. If you have not taken delivery of the TV, please go for LG49UB850T. It has 4K60p hevc decoder.

d2h means lots of channels & tatasky means good technology in stb & both picture quality is same bro

50/60p means twice the refresh rate than 25/30p. Means sharper picture.
